Privacy Policy — Visual Routine Builder

Visual Routine Builder is a picture‑based visual‑routine app for iPhone and iPad. This policy

explains, in plain language, what data the app handles and how. The short version:

**Visual Routine Builder does not collect your data. We have no servers, and we use no third‑party

analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash‑reporting services.**

Who this app is for

Visual Routine Builder is built for adults — adults who manage their own routines, and the

parents, caregivers, educators, and support professionals who set routines up for the

people they support. The account holder is always an adult. The app is not directed to

children and is not offered in the App Store "Kids" category.

Because a supporter may set up and use Visual Routine Builder on behalf of a minor, we build to

children's‑privacy standards regardless: no advertising, no third‑party data sharing, no

accounts for the people being supported, and no behavioral tracking.

What data the app handles, and where it lives

All of the content you create stays on your device only. Version 1 has no cloud

component of any kind — no accounts, no sync, and no server we could store anything on:

• People, schedules, steps, saved boards, Pause card choices, break settings, and today's progress on a running schedule — stored locally on your device (SwiftData). The app keeps no history of how a schedule was used.

• Photos you add to steps and pictures (including a picture chosen for one person) — chosen by you from your photo library and stored as local

files in the app's container.

• Voice prompts you record — stored as local audio files in the app's container. They

are never transcribed and never uploaded to us.

Nothing you create leaves the device. The app makes no network requests at all — it

works exactly the same in airplane mode — and there is no server, anywhere, that could

receive it. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

What we collect

Nothing. Visual Routine Builder does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There

is no account to create with us, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier (we never use

the Advertising Identifier / IDFA), and no crash‑reporting or attribution service.

Device permissions

The app asks for a permission only when you use the related feature, and only for that

purpose:

• Microphone — to record optional voice prompts for routine steps. Recordings stay on

your device.

• Face ID / Touch ID — optional, to quickly unlock the supporter controls on a running schedule. Authentication

is performed on‑device by iOS; we never receive biometric data. Your passcode always works

as a fallback.

The app does not use Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) features. It does not restrict, block, or monitor other apps or how the device is used; breaks are timers inside the app.

The app uses Apple's system photo picker to attach photos, which does not require access to

your full photo library.

Children

Visual Routine Builder is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly

collect personal information from anyone. If a supporter uses the app on behalf of a minor,

the minor has no account and no data is collected.

Your control

You can delete any routine, step, profile, photo, or voice recording in the app at any time,

which removes it from your device. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device

— so if you want to keep something, export or note it before deleting.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised

policy at the same location.
