Terms of Use — VisualRoutine

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Please read these Terms before using VisualRoutine. By using the app, you agree to them.

1. What VisualRoutine is

VisualRoutine is a productivity and general‑wellness app that lets you build

picture‑based visual routines, move through each step at your own pace, and reward finished

tasks with calm, self‑paced breaks. It is designed for people who use visual supports and

for the families, educators, and supporters who set routines up with them.

2. What VisualRoutine is not

VisualRoutine is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical,

behavioral, or therapeutic services. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any

condition, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or care. Nothing in the app

should be relied on as such. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or

behavioral questions.

3. Who may use it

The account holder must be an adult (18+). An adult may set up and use the app on behalf of

another person they support. The app is not directed to children and is not offered in the

App Store "Kids" category.

4. Your content

You own the routines, photos, and voice recordings you create. They stay on your device and,

if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. You are responsible for the content

you add and for having the right to use any photos or recordings you import.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to reverse‑engineer, disrupt, or misuse

it, or use it to harm others.

6. Optional Screen Time features

The optional Screen Time reward layer uses Apple's Family Controls framework with your

explicit authorization to shield and unshield apps on the device. You are responsible for the

choices you configure. The app remains fully usable without this feature.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or

consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after

an update means you accept the revised Terms.
